​🚧 4 LABOURERS NEEDED! HEAVY SITE CLEANUP – CORAL GARDENS 🚧

• Location: Coral Gardens, Montego Bay

• Project: RAJ SUNCA

• (Post-Storm Site Recovery & Steel Organization)

• Duration: 2 Days (Fixed)

• ​Mediterranean Style Jamaica is seeking 4 disciplined labourers (male or female) for a high-intensity site cleanup at the Raj Sunca project. This is a flat-rate contract with the potential for future work if you do a great job and are pleasant to work with!
  Payment: JMD $25,000 per worker 

• (Paid after job is fully completed and verified)

• Crew Size Needed: 4 workers total

🦺 REQUIREMENTS

• Must bring your own tools (cutlass, measuring tape, tools needed to disconnect steel from mattings without cutting the steel such as heavy duty wire cutters or pliers)

• Must be physically able to work on hilly, rocky terrain

• Must have a valid bank account (NO cash payments on site) - access to the bank account information of a friend or family member you trust to give you your money is okay, however, if using a third-party account, you must confirm in writing that payment will be made to the account details you provide. Once proof of transfer is issued, Mediterranean Style Jamaica is not liable for disputes between you and the account holder.

• Must be reliable and able to complete work within timeline, and must take responsibility for your own protective gear:

         1. sun hat/fisherman's hat with neck & nose cover

         2. wraparound sunshades

         3. long sleeved shirt

         4. work gloves 

         5. long pants (or ankle-length tights if female) 

         6. calf length socks

         7. steel-toed high top boots

         8. insulated water bottle

If you don't have these items, they will be ordered for you and the cost subtracted from your pay (cost will be agreed on in writing before work begins, so there will be no surprises).  However they will be yours to keep for any future job you may have, whether with us or another company.  Safety first: health is wealth!

💪🏽 JOB DELIVERABLES (ALL MUST BE COMPLETED FOR PAYMENT)

Work starts no earlier than 6am (so you can get most work done before the sun is hottest). 

Work ends no later than 6pm (so you can be done working and off site by nightfall).

1. Clear a 10-foot wide driveway

2. Clear a 5-foot wide path around the batter boards

3. Separate all steel columns from steel mattings and separate matting pieces from each other (do NOT cut the steel, only cut the connecting wires!)

4. Lay all steel neatly by the blocks (between the blocks and batter board)

5. Clear all foundation trenches of bush and overgrowth

6. Collect all loose steel in path being cleared and driveway, in foundation, and beside shed and place neatly by the blocks (between the blocks and batter board)

7. Remove damaged drywall (already on the ground outside shed) and take to bottom of the land without blocking cleared driveway

8. Bag all trash from driveway, walkway, and trench paths and move to garbage receptacle at top of street (beside street sign)

9. Gather all the bush cut and safely burn it (if it did not rain while working) in an area away from neighbours' homes and away from the shed on-site, in a contained area circled by any loose rocks from the site. Burn must be attended in person until pile is reduced to ash and fire is out for safety reasons.

Site must be left orderly and ready for continued construction work.

💰 PAYMENT TERMS

• Full payment will be made by bank transfer immediately after final inspection and confirmation that all listed deliverables are completed

• Payment via bank transfer only

• If job is not completed within agreed timeline, payment drops by 10% (-$2,500) per day late

• Payment will be sent to the account details submitted in writing. Mediterranean Style Jamaica is not responsible for disputes between workers and third-party account holders.
