The Abyss Website
Nothing needs to be explained here because there's literally nothing there to explain! Actually worse than the Dead End Website because at least you got some communication on the screen there that lets you know their system is at least aware something is wrong... this website link just dropped me off a cliff!
The Confidence Artist Website
Maybe they don't mean to do it, but the technical attention to detail and the proper testing behind the scenes is just not there... I'm ready to sign up and do business and they told me they are ready to do business with me but oops, I guess not!
My thought now is, if my registration disappears into the void like it just did when I tried to use the login link (in their welcome email, mind you!) to sign in on their site... what happens to my payments when clients try to make a deposit or a balance payment? Will it fall into whatever lies between these two screens the way my login information seems to have been swallowed up mysteriously in the short time between registering and trying to log in?
This is unacceptable, definitely taking my business somewhere else.
There's too much competition out here to risk my business reputation (and the stress of arguments over "where is the money?!") on this.
